Our proposal for San Diego’s East Village aims to break the surrounding mono-functional enclaves into a neighborhood that instead develop an ecology between them. While providing environmental benefits about rain water collection, air quality and development of local species, the garden at the center of our idea is also seen as an evolving anchor for the development of its surrounding communities.
The Scheme organize around it different interests ( following their adjacencies) in a way that proposes the maximum amount of sporadic overlap possible, eventually providing opportunities for hybrid typologies and mixed use parcels and blocks.
